What is a Canada visa?
If you are a citizen of New Zealand and want to visit Canada, you need a visa. If you are a citizen of Norway and want to visit Canada, you need a visa. CANADA VISA FOR NEW ZEALAND CITIZENS
There are two types of Canada visas: Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) and Canadian Pre-Paid Travel Association (CPTA) visa. TRVs allow citizens from countries in the Western Hemisphere to stay in Canada for up to six months and work without having to obtain a work permit. CPTA visas allow citizens from countries in the Western Hemisphere to stay in Canada for up to three months and work without having to obtain a work permit.
To apply for a Canada visa, you will need your passport, visa application form, passport photo, proof of citizenship (a copy of your birth certificate or your ID card), travel insurance policy with minimum coverage for medical expenses over $5,000 CAD and tickets out of the country if applying for an TRV or CPTA visa. You can apply online or at one of the Canadian embassies or high commissions abroad. The processing time for visas is usually around four weeks but can take up to several months due to increased demand during certain holiday seasons such as Christmas or Easter.
How does one apply for a Canada Visa?
There are a few different ways to apply for a Canada visa. You can apply online, by mail, or in person at a Canadian embassy or consulate. CANADA VISA FOR NORWAY CITIZENS
To apply online, you’ll need to create an account with the Government of Canada’s e-Visa Service. Once you have an account, you can submit your application by filling out the online form and submitting your documentation.
To apply by mail, you’ll need to send your application package together with the required documents to the address listed on the Canada visa website.
In person at a Canadian Embassy or Consulate: If you’re applying in person, you’ll need to bring your passport, a valid travel document that proves your identity (like a driver’s licence or passport), photocopies of all the documents required for your application (including your visa application form and any supporting documents), and enough money to cover any costs associated with your application (like processing fees).

Countries and Regions without a Canadian Embassy or Visa Application Centre
Some countries and regions do not have a Canadian embassy or visa application centre. For these destinations, Canadians must apply for a visa through the nearest Canadian embassy or visa application centre.
