What is an Indian Visa?
Ecuador and Fiji are two South American countries with which Indian citizens can easily obtain visas. Ecuador offers a 3-month visa-free stay for Indian citizens, while Fiji offers a 4-month visa-free stay for Indian citizens.
Indian nationals must have a valid passport with at least six months remaining after the planned departure date of the travel. The following documents are also required: a valid visa application form (available from any Ecuadorian embassy or consulate), two recent passport photos, and payment of the processing fee (currently $60). In addition, proof of financial resources in the form of bank statements or invoices is often requested.

How to Apply for an Indian Visa
If you are a citizen of Ecuador or Fiji and you want to visit India, you will need to acquire an Indian visa. The process of obtaining an Indian visa can be a little difficult, but it is definitely worth it if you want to see some of the world’s most amazing sights. Here is how to apply for an Indian visa:
- Start by gathering all of the necessary documents. You will need your passport, a recent photo passport-size photograph, your visa application form (downloadable from the Indian embassy website), and your return ticket. Make sure that all of your documents are clean and unaltered.
- Go to the Indian embassy nearest to your home country. If you are living in another country, go to the embassy that represents India there. You will need to fill out an application form and pay a processing fee. The embassy will then send you back a Visa Notification Letter (VNL). This letter will contain all of the information about your visa appointment including the dates and time frame for which you should arrive in India.

How to Apply for an Ecuador/Fiji Visa
If you are a citizen of India and want to travel to Ecuador for leisure purposes, business or for medical treatment, you need to apply for an Ecuadorian visa.
To apply for an Ecuadorian visa, you must first gather the following documents: Your valid passport with at least six months remaining validity. Two recent passport-size photographs One fully completed application form (available from the Embassy or Consulate) Fee payable in cash (USD 30)
The Embassy or Consulate will then issue you an entrance visa which will allow you into Ecuador. You must carry your original passport and entry visa with you when travelling outside of Quito. If you are travelling to other parts of Ecuador, you will also need to carry a valid passport and appropriate travel documents.
When applying for an Ecuadorian visa, it is important that you provide all the necessary information requested on the application form. Failure to provide accurate information may result in your visa being refused. In addition, please note that if your stay in Ecuador is longer than 30 days, you will be required to obtain a tourist card prior to departure from Ecuador.
