The Embassy of India in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, and the Consulate General of the Republic of India in Santiago Chile, are pleased to inform that pursuant to the Government of India’s decision to ease visa regulations for foreign visitors, Indian e-Tourist Visa (eTV) is now available for citizens of Luxembourg and Chile.
Indian Visa for Luxembourg Citizens
Luxembourg citizens need a valid passport and an Indian visa to enter India. The process of getting an Indian visa for Luxembourg citizens is similar to the process for other foreign nationals. INDIAN VISA FOR LUXEMBOURG CITIZENS
First, you will need to fill out an online application form and submit it along with the required documents. These include your passport, two recent passport-size photographs, and a self-addressed envelope. You will also need to pay the visa fee, which is currently $60 for a single-entry visa or $100 for a multiple-entry visa.
Once your application is complete, you will need to submit it to the nearest Indian consulate or embassy. The processing time for visas can take up to two weeks, so be sure to apply well in advance of your planned travel dates.
Once your visa is approved, you will be able to stay in India for up to 60 days on a single-entry visa or 180 days on a multiple-entry visa. Be sure to check the expiration date on your visa before travel and make sure you have enough time left on your visa before leaving India.
Indian Visa for Chile Citizens
Chilean citizens need a visa to enter India. The process of applying for a visa can be done online through the website of the Indian embassy or consulate in Chile. INDIAN VISA FOR CHILE CITIZENS
The following documents are required when applying for a visa:
– A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining before expiration and with at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps
– A completed visa application form
– A recent passport-sized photograph
– A cover letter explaining the purpose of your trip to India
– An onward or return ticket
– Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay in India
– Any other supporting documents as required by the embassy or consulate
Types of Indian Visas
There are many different types of Indian visas, each with their own specific requirements. The most common type of visa is the business visa, which allows foreign nationals to enter India for business purposes. Other popular types of visas include the tourist visa, student visa, and work visa.
The business visa is valid for up to one year and allows the holder to engage in business activities such as attending meetings and conferences, establishing business contacts, and conducting research.
